We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again! The lodge was lovely and had everything we needed, and the back garden was beautiful and was perfect for our dog to explore! We also really appreciated how well equipped it was, especially having milk in the fridge! Thank you.

We had the most wonderful birthday getaway at Beck Head Tarn in the peaceful woodland of Neaum Crag, near Ambleside. The location was absolutely lovely: secluded yet so convenient for exploring the Lake District, with stunning views and that magical forest feel right outside the door. The cabin itself was in very good standard, clean and incrediblRead morey well-stocked. Everything we needed was there, making it feel like a true home-from-home. A special shout-out to Hollie for managing such a special place and for the thoughtful welcome touches: fresh tea, coffee, milk, and shortbreads waiting for us, which made arriving after a drive so cozy and welcoming. Inside, the little electric fire created such a warm atmosphere (perfect for rainy March evenings), and the outside terrace was beautiful, even in the drizzle. We loved sipping drinks out there listening to the trees. My fianc even spotted a red squirrel scampering around the woods, which was a lovely highlight! The rain didn't dampen the magic one bitwe had a lovely relaxing break together. Highly recommend for a peaceful escape. We'll definitely be back! Hide

General cleanliness of the property was very poor. There was a significant amount of dust and cobwebs behind and under all the furniture - don't store your bags under the bed! Most concerning was the broken glass we found in the lounge rug, luckily stepped on and found by an adult rather than our children. On a positive note the location was lovely and facilities were good. We wouldnt returRead moren to this accommodation but would return to the location. Hide
