We were very happy when we seen the cottage. Surrounding countryside from the door was stunning. The owner, a lovely lady Carol was there when we arrived. Really interesting, quirky cottage for four - spacious for two. In beautiful Dales scenery, with lots to do. Two good pubs in Dent, together with the town Museum (a MUST). Worth going up to Dent station, and possibly making the loop - Carlisle / Settle from there (Settle is a typically lovely Dales town - go to the Folly).

The cottage was warm, cosy and peaceful. It had just enough room for the four of us and two dogs. It didn't have an enclosed garden but there was a large patch of grass for them. There was a lovely welcome pack of goodies on arrival and the owners kindly lent us a fan when the weather turned really hot. Hoping to return next year.
