Wonderful property - peaceful and relaxing, making it perfect for our family holiday. We appreciated all the extra touches and luxurious facilities and are now definitely Aga converts! Our Mexican "son-in-law to be" loved being so close to the sheep.

This property was clean, spacious and set in the most beautiful countryside. There was an an art room which was a lovely suprise. ( Take your own craft equipment). Watching the myriad of birds and sheep while dining was a pleasure. Plenty of wildlife and walks. definitely worth a visit.

This setting is simply stunning and ideal to get back to nature. The owners have created a luxury home from home with everything catered for. Great central location for visits to Windermere, Ambleside, Grasmere, Ulverston and Hawkshead but this the kind of place you can't wait to get back to as well.

A November visit. The wonderful roominess of the place was still warm and cosy. Had great fun learning to use the Aga. Cookbook supplied and very tasty results. A picture perfect view from every window. Lovely local walks. Can walk to the ferry at Lakeside one mile away and travel the full length of Windermere by boat. Beautiful cottage. Peaceful, spacious and in the perfect location to visit many places. This is my favourite cottage and my family love it. We come as three couples and have plenty of space. Love the upstairs bathroom! Really is a unique and beautiful place!
