Happily sleeping four guests and up to two dogs, this holiday home is a characterful space that will suit any small family or group of friends down to a tee. Complete with characterful original beams, the ground floor of this property presents a cheerful open-plan kitchen/diner/lounge. Lovingly decorated with a neutral colour scheme, this room is a delightful space to relax early in the morning or late into the night. Tuck into the generous welcome pack on arrival and switch on the coal-effect electric fire to create the cosy ambience this room is ready to offer. Jolly breakfasts or quality evening meals can be enjoyed right here at the dining table. When sleep calls, venture up to bed and find two rooms ready to receive you. Lovely cottage in a beautiful village. It was very clean and had everything we needed plus great internet. Loved the welcome pack. The main bed was huge and comfortable. The floorboards upstairs are creaky and very noisy which may bother some people. The cottage is in a great location, ideal for access to shops and pubs. There is a walk across the Read moreroad so had no problem walking the dog on a morning. Only drove the car one day as plenty of walks from the door. Would stay again. Hide

The cottage was very nice and our stay there was very relaxing. Its a shame that the surrounding area doesn't have any designated places for a dog to be off lead. The village was welcoming and offered great places to eat and drink. Even though we had to drive to everywhere the outstanding beauty was stunning.

Great location for a walking holiday with several walks from the doorstep. Local Coop for general groceries and a good Deli, The Honeypot, selling lots of lovely local products. Some good pubs serving food, best to book in advance for evening meals. The Sun Inn is a friendly place and the Chippy next door serves fish & chips direct to your pub tablRead moree. Hide
