Guests can park normal sized cars in the narrow lane at the back of the property hard against the wall and also in front of the property (more suitable for larger vehicles) BUT this MUST be on the part of the lane and the road that is for No 5 / 5a and not for No's 6 or 4. If parking in front of the property it should be on the side of the road adjacent to the terrace houses, not the other side of the road. General Description

The property is accessed from the rear door with the stairway leading straight ahead to the living area. At the bottom of the stairway is an area housing the washing machine and separate tumble dryer.

The living room has soft seating, TV, DVD player, dining table and chairs, and a wood burner effect electric fire set in a feature fireplace. The window from this room has spectacular views to the Glendermackin river valley and to Blencathra.

The master bedroom has king-size bed and, again, views to Blencathra. A baby cot and high chair, stored in this room, are available for use. Please bring your own bed linen for the cot. The second double bedroom has king-size bed.

The kitchen on the same level is well equipped with electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher. The view from the kitchen is to the fells at the rear.

The lovely family bathroom has bath with shower over, W.C. and washbasin.

The second flight of stairs lead to the single bedroom with a further pull out bed to sleep a sixth person. This room is light and airy with velux window and views to the fells at the rear.

Although there is no garden as such, the small sheltered patio area has seating and a storage shed for bikes and outdoor gear - this patio area is shared with the flat below. The owners have left two bikes and an inflatable kayak which guests are welcome to use at their own risk. To the back is common land which has a playground and loads of space for a game of football. The quiet roads both to front and rear of the property are suitable for parking (please park in front of the cottage).
