We had a fantastic Christmas at the cottage. Everything is close by.
The only tiny addition, but it’s a personal preference since we had a small child would be to add black out blinds as the street lamp was on. But as I say, that’s a personal thing and wouldn’t stop us booking again.
Thank you again for a lovely stay. Fiona

So glad we booked to stay at Challoner Cottage! It was perfect, very homely and cosy with everything you truly need. It’s also in a great little spot so close to the town centre. Only downside is the parking which was very expensive for the week. Would definitely return!

We had a wonderful time at Challoner Cottage, it was lovely and homely very clean the beds were supper soft and great for the little things we had forgot. We were right in the middle of Cockermouth, walking distance of your local shops, great food and great ales. You're in the heart of the lake district as Keswick is about 20 minute drive (in car) for some lovely walks and views even if its from the lake side or at the top of the fells. We would recommend going and seeing everything for yourself.

Hi Sharon, many thanks for your lovely comments! Cockermouth is a real gem of a place, isn't it? (Actually, it really is, did you know that it's one of only 51 'Gem Towns' in the country? Well worth a Google!) So glad you had such a fantastic time, and hope to see you again soon!
