We have had an amazing time at challoner cottage, the cottage is in a small village with everything g you may need. Less than a five minute walk to the local supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants, and pubs. There is plenty of choice regarding restaurants to suit everybody’s individual tastes, as well as a number of takeaways. The cottage itself was lovely and homely, with lots of nice furnishings to make it a home from home. Both bedrooms were spacious with lots of storage space for clothes. The kitchen had everything you could need for preparing food, with a good size fridge and freezer. There was a washing machine and dryer which was perfect as it meant we could wash as we went so we didn’t come home with a pile of washing. The living room was very cosy, especially in the evening, with a good choice of games to keep us entertained. The owners had left a pack containing local walks and inspiration for days out. The only issue we had was the thin curtains which meant a lot of sun got though, and really thick quilts. But I really can not fault the cottage and would without doubt return again.
