Christmas festivities are in full swing and there is plenty on offer to get you into the festive spirit.
Saturday 8th December and Sunday 9th December sees the return of the Windermere Christmas Celebration for the third year. As an extra festive incentive, if you turn up to Treetop Nets this December wearing your festive jumper, they will double your time in the nets to 4 hours!

It wouldn’t be Christmas without a trip to see the man himself… Santa, of course! It is possible to incorporate a boat and a steam train into your visit; perfect for the little transport enthusiast in your party! You can catch a boat with Windermere Cruises and then visit Father Christmas aboard a steam train on the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway. A journey full of magic, there will be presents for the children and a festive treat and seasonal drink for the adults. To bring out the Christmas feelings even more, if this is indeed possible, there will be carols for everyone to join in with and enjoy. The return journey will take one and a half hours and Santa will visit every child with a special, handpicked present, making this festive journey one you and your family never forget.
