You may already be a fan of Stuart Holmes or noticed him all over the national newspapers recently... Stuart is a friend of Sally's Cottages and has created a fantastic guidebook for enjoying, exploring and photographing the beautiful places of the Lake District.

Stuart Holmes

Stuart lives in Keswick and is known in the town as climber, paraglider and also for his beautiful photographs.

His new book, Photographing The Lake District describes 70 of the most beautiful places in the Lake District and gives you tips on how to photograph the spectacular views, waterfalls, valleys and rivers.

Crummock and Grassmoor

His book, in a larger than usual format, is illustrated with over 360 photographs that reflect the beauty and diversity of the area that has inspired artists, photographers, writers and poets.

As well as being a souvenir and guidebook to the Lake District, it will help those budding photographers out there take better photographs, describing the best time of day and the best seasons to visit the 70 locations.
