I couldn’t resist putting up some more nice comments from guests staying at our Lake District Cottages. I’ve tried to limit it to one comment per holiday cottage – quite hard to do but I didn’t want to bore you! I could go on but perhaps I had better stop! I may already have gone overboard.
“A lovely stay in Ullock Pike - Thank You! Comfortable and cosy cottage - the views are really pretty especially if you're lucky enough to catch a sunset! It's been our first trip to the Lake District and we've had a great time.” A&J (August 2011) Ullock Pike, Bassenthwaite, Northern Lake District.
“It's been a really magical retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Thank you for the much appreciated 'welcome basket'. “Having never visited the Lake District before I didn't know if it would live up to my expectations. I must say that it has more than surpassed them and I strongly believe that staying here had a lot to do with it! Absolutely stunning place, designed to perfection. If I could live here I would!” LC (Sept 2010) The Bothy, Bassenthwaite, Northern Lake District.
“Kim and Danny thanks so much for building such a gorgeous place! We love it! For all your pushing and pulling to get us out of the snow, for your kind offer to get supplies and avoid the ‘gin crisis’, for the suggested walks and for the YUM CAKE. A massive THANK YOU! We couldn't think of a better place to be snowed in on our honeymoon!” LG (Nov 2010) The Bothy, Bassenthwaite, Northern Lake District.
“We had a lovely three days here. Probably the best self-catering we have experienced with lots of provisions the cake and jam were delicious. "Overall, we have been very impressed by the personal touches from sallyscottages. We've not used the company before, but certainly will look to again in the future. We loved the house and were very pleased with the standard, and the welcome milk & bics, plus the sticks & coal, were much appreciated after a long journey :) Thanks again for contributing to a super weekend; even the mountain weather was reasonable, despite the poor forecast. We look forward to using the company again." IM (February 2011) Gable Cottage, Wasdale, Western Lake District.
