From the north and south:

• From Junction 40 on the M6, follow the A66 west for approximately 29 miles towards Keswick and Workington.
• You'll approach a large roundabout with a Premier Inn to the left. Take the fourth exit signposted A5086 to Cockermouth.
• Drive past the petrol station, Honda garage and business park on your left, then take the next tight left after the crest onto Brigham Road.
• Take the first left off Brigham Road onto Holmewood Avenue and follow the road round a right-hand bed.
• Shortly after the bend, take the first left onto Brackenhill Lane.
• Ignore the first cul-de-sac and instead follow the road as it bends to the right.
• Vale Close is the next cul-de-sac on the left-hand-side.
• 3 Vale Close is at the end of the cul-de-sac, on the left as you look towards two bungalows.
• Parking is on the driveway.
