The cottage is in a great location and is well equipped. The interior is cleverly designed and is set in a lovely place. There is parking for 3 cars, which is essential on the narrow lane.

We had a lovely three night break at this beautiful cottage. The Welcome Pack was a bonus and much appreciated. The beds were so comfortable and we made use of the log burner for cosy evenings in. We couldnt have asked for a more comfortable property. There were lovely walks from the cottage and we visited the local pub, Engine Inn, for a couple ofRead more drinks. Cartmel is only a ten minute drive away or a 40 minute walk (through the lanes rather than the main road as directed by a local). We enjoyed lunches at the Mallard Tea Shop and a Sunday roast at The Kings Arms. We will definitely look to return to this beautiful cottage. Hide
