Sally's Cottages: Lake District Holiday Cottages
Our holiday cottages are mostly in the Western Lake District, especially in Eskdale, Wasdale, Ravenglass, Gosforth and Ennerdale, although we also have houses in the Borrowdale valley near Keswick, in the Duddon Valley near Coniston and in Grasmere.
This part of the Lake District has a slower, quieter pace of life than in the more bustling centres of Windermere and Ambleside. Here, there are still more sheep than people, a real sense of tranquility, and hundreds of wonderful walks, either along the river banks at valley floors, the coastal beaches of the Irish Sea or high up on some of the most spectacular fells in the country.
Our self-catering accommodation gives you the flexibility to cook at home, or to visit the many welcoming pubs within easy reach, offering traditional Cumbrian foods and ales.
