The property, which is located on the second floor of a converted Victorian townhouse, is contemporary and comfortable. The open-plan living area features high ceilings and decor that offers a bright and airy feel during the day but transitions to cosy and inviting in the evenings; snuggle up on the sofa in front of the TV after a long day out exploring. Get ready for bed in the luxurious bathroom; take a sumptuous soak or a refreshing shower among stunning marble tiles. The bedrooms, a double and a king-size, both have gorgeous wood-panelled feature walls and peaceful tones to help you drift off to sleep. The charming Ullswater Steamers on the lake are well worth a ride; climb aboard at Pooley Bridge (25 miles) and stop at Aira Force (31.5 miles by road) for views of the waterfall and the Victorian arboretum.
