The wonderful ornamental gardens and long seafront promenade of Grange-Over-Sands can be reached less than 2 miles away, whilst peaceful cruises along Lake Windermere aboard a traditional steamer can be reached within 16 miles from Bowness-On-Windermere.

You could not ask for better hosts - sadly our Mum took seriously ill and when we asked if we could pay for an extra night (as Mum couldn't travel) Paul unhesitatingly told us we could stay without charge.
