A comfortable and well-equipped cottage dating back to the seventeenth century, delivering a wonderful mix of ancient and modern - fourposter bed anyone??? It's in a perfect location for exploring Eskdale and West Cumbria - the quieter side of the Lake District - with plenty to see and do nearby. Heating keeps the rooms warm and toasty, but you can also relax in front of a roaring fire if that's your thing. Rooms contain an eclectic mix of antiques and modern furniture and there's a well stocked library of books. A great place to stay in allweathers.
