General description
Gate Farm is a large, converted building arranged over three floors and providing a very comfortable accommodation for up to 13 people, who will enjoy the use of a very large, fully enclosed garden, secure bike storage and a quiet location just minutes from Ullswater and half an hour easy drive from Keswick.

The entrance to the property is down couple of steps through a lovely kitchen equipped with a range cooker, under floor heating and a large, modern fridge freezer. To your right is a characterful dining room/snug with a dining table and a wood burner.

Straight on from the kitchen you can access the rest of the ground floor including the utility room with a washing machine, a dryer and space for boots and wet gear, as well as the living room with comfortable leather and fabric sofas, stylish bean bags and a wood burner.

On the first floor, there is a master kingsize bedroom, two double rooms with en suite showers, and a twin room. The family bathroom boasts a roll top bath, a separate shower and under floor heating and can work as an en suite by locking off the door that separates the master bedroom and the family bathroom from the corridor.

The second floor is a converted, spacious attic with two separate areas. One area has a zip and link bed (usually made as a super king but can be made into two single beds if requested before your stay). The other area has a single bed and a sofa bed. The owner would be happy to provide a stairgate with sufficient notice.

The lawned garden is fully enclosed and has a glass summerhouse and BBQ. There is plenty of space for kids and pets to roam, and a high stone wall protects the garden from the street, while hedge and tall trees enclose it to the rear of the property.

A detached garage on the back of the drive is available for bike storage.
