Comfortable cottage with lots of space. Unfortunately there is only single glazing and all the windows were constantly running with condensation and there were mould spores. There was also a damp patch on the stairs and in the snug. The information book said the gas fire was a bit tricky to light but we found it impossible. Despite the problems we had a good week but would recommend going in the warmer weather.

Holiday cottage was lovely. We were having a heat wave and the stone house kept it nice and cool. My children also enjoyed it. Would like to stay again.

Wysall House is a good base for exploring the northern Lakes. Its location near to Keswick means that all the amenities you might require are close at hand.
The accommodation was modern and clean and very well equipped. The only slight problem was the lack of parking space at the front of the property which became a problem when a large car belonging to people staying in the property up the road was parked blocking our gate. However, that is the nature of a small village where the houses are close together, so can't really be helped.
All in all, an enjoyable stay and would certainly recommend it.
