Woodside is a sympathetically restored traditional stone built Lakeland cottage with many original features.
The living room is warm and comfortable with plenty of seating for 8 people and a woodburning stove (first basket of wood provided - please prebook this in Summer (1st May - 30th Sept) with Becx, the owner). This room is connected to the dining area with french doors, giving you the option of having the space as one large room or two smaller rooms.
The kitchen is light and airy. It is fully equipped with a gas hob, electric fan oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.
On the first floor are three bedrooms - one double, one twin with Juliet balcony and views towards Skiddaw (the Lake District's fourth highest mountain), and one with a set of adult sized bunks. There is also a large shower room on this floor with luxury shower, wc and basin.
A private staircase takes you to the master double bedroom with an ensuite shower room with wc and basin. The views towards Skiddaw and Latrigg through the skylights are fantastic!
Outside is a large wrap around deck situated over two levels including a large family level with outside table and chairs. The decking leads down to a rockery garden area and parking beyond for two cars. If you have extra cars, there is further parking nearby.
