General Information:
Set in the grounds of Woodlands Country House, Woodlands Cottage has two bedrooms and sleeps up to three people. It was originally the stables for the Victorian vicarage and has a large comfortable lounge/diner with a high-pitched roof, beautiful views across the fields towards Boltongate and a huge wood burning stove to toast your toes on chilly evenings.

The entrance to the stone cottage opens into the kitchen via the utility room, which contains a washing machine and tumble drier. The kitchen itself is well equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave and separate under-counter fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The kitchen window looks onto the shared yard of Woodland's Country House, which is filled with garden flowers.

The living room/diner has plenty of natural lighting through a large high window and a lovely, cosy character. Meals are eaten at the dining table (which seats four people) at the window overlooking the fields towards Boltongate. Then, relax with a glass of wine on the two sofas in front of the large wood burning stove. A small TV and inbuilt DVD player are available, with a good collection of DVDs, books and board games.

There are two bedrooms, one single and one double. Both are equipped with chest-of-drawers and the double bedroom contains a large wardrobe. The single bedroom contains a set of hooks instead of a wardrobe. The view from the single bedroom is of the tree in front of the house and the double bedroom looks over the cottage's private garden and fields beyond. Both bedrooms are small but comfortable. The bathroom is next to the bedrooms and contains a bath, over-bath shower and toilet.

The owner offers a small welcome pack so that you can enjoy a warm drink when you arrive together with some of the owners fresh baking.

The cottage has its own lawned garden area with a barbecue and patio chairs/table and a small yard filled with cottage garden flowers. Please note that the garden is not fully enclosed and dogs should be supervised in the garden and grounds of the house. Cottage guests are also welcome to use the Woodland's Country House garden.

Guests in Woodlands Cottage are welcome to use the bar in Woodland's Country House. Well behaved pets are welcome in Woodlands Cottage at a small additional charge.
