We absolutely loved this property, it was very clean, very comfortable and homely, the garden was beautiful with comfortable garden furniture. It is the first time we have stayed in this area due to wanting to complete particular walks in the fells, the coastal position meant we had fine sunny weather when we could see the mountains in the distance were under cloud. It was very peaceful and relaxing, grocery stores were available in Seascale and also within the petrol station at Holmrook. Would not hesitate to recommend this property if you love the peace and quiet.

We found this cottage to be the perfect home from home for us. It was comfortable, well equipped and the garden was beautiful to sit in and relax. This cottage is also a perfect location for walking in Wasdale especially if you are completely the Wainwright’s.

A compact, clean and comfortable cottage, ideal for 2/3 people with a beautiful secluded garden. Weather was mixed but we got plenty of walking in.
