great cottage, lots of space, great garden which is very secure for children and dogs. good location with nice beech 15 minutes walk away. All rooms en-suite, beds very comfortable and everything clean and ready for your arrival with a very nice welcome basket of goodies. nice pubs in st. bees for drinks and food and walkable there but probably a taxi back !! stayed here last year and came back as we enjoyed so much. would definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at whistling jacks. The cottage was beautiful and there was nothing that wasn’t available in terms of cutlery, plates, mugs etc. There were plenty of tea bags, coffee, spices etc. left in the cupboards for use which was great. The cottage was clean and tidy and was like a home from home. All information was sent pre arrival with clear instructions and directions. St Bees was beautiful good facilities at the beach and great for the kids.
