Please note that this cottage is suitable for a maximum of 5 adults and 1 child, we can not accept bookings of 6 adults.
If you could keep the dogs off the furniture and out of the bedrooms it would be greatly appreciated.
During the winter months the heating at the property is set to come on from 6.30am-10am in the morning and 4pm-10.30pm in the evening. Guests are advised to use the woodburners at the property outside of these times.
You enter the property through the back of the house. From here, the adjacent boot/cloak room is ideal for drying off boots and waterproofs after a day on the fells. The kitchen has a cosy wood burning stove for added comfort in the winter and is well equipped with a halogen hob and plenty of storage and work space. You will also find an Alexa Dot in there, as well! The utility room houses a washer and dryer, fridge freezer and a Belfast sink and you will find a dishwasher in the kitchen.
The sitting room is open plan with sofas around a wood burner and a dining table under a large window, which fills the room with light.
On the first floor there is a a zip-and-link bedroom, a double bedroom featuring an original fireplace and a single bedroom for a child. There is also a bathroom with a large shower enclosure, wash basin and WC.
On the second floor is a family bathroom with a cast iron roll top bath and shower attachment. This floor also has a single attic bedroom with a queen size bed.
The garden is accessed by crossing a shared lane behind the property and entering via a small wooden gate. From here, you can enjoy stunning views of the Wasdale fells. There is an outside table and chairs.
There is limited parking at the front of the property, which is next to the road. If there is no space to park here, there is further parking about 50 yards down the road.
