Very comfortable, ideal for walking from the door eg to Threlkeld village with cafe and pubs or by car walks nr Derwentwater and Ullswater .
Great kitchen for meals together, plenty cold storage for food.

A lovely cottage in a great location but lots of small issues. Kitchen floor dirty, outside light not working making it dangerous. Only one partially used looroll for the three bathrooms. Lamp in lounge not working. No vegetable peeler, masher fell apart, no wine rack. Single bed wobbly. Shower door in ensuite fell off every time it was used. Internet TV pretty useless and frustrating due to poor signal.

Loved it - great location and a great house.... would highly recommend.
Just off the A66 but totally quiet and surrounded by fells - you are in a small hamlet (or is it just a farm thats now been converted to a couple of properties) but close to a couple of pubs that serve food and close to Keswick or even Penrith for groceries. Dont arrive without groceries - there is nothing there - small amount of salt was all.
