The tiny hamlet of Wallthwaite has inspiring views of Blencathra and a timeless, peaceful atmosphere. The private garden enjoys views of the fells and surrounding farming landscape. Wallthwaite also enjoys unpolluted skies so you can star gaze at night.
Situated midway between Keswick and Penrith, the cottage is ideal for exploring the northern Lakes, Ullswater and the mysterious Back o’Skiddaw. 6 people can be accommodated in 3 bedrooms, and there is a comfortable sitting room with a woodburner.
Penrith is around 15 minutes drive away, offering a selection of supermarkets, restaurants and a market. Keswick is 15 minutes drive west, with a wide selection of outdoor shops, pubs and cafes. It is the starting point for many fabulous walks, and a hub for adventure activity providers.
