General information

Wagtail is a second floor, one bedroom apartment in Easedale House with open plan living, dining and kitchen areas flooded with natural light from two large sash windows. It has been stylishly and comfortably modernised and includes a private parking permit (a rarity in central Keswick).

The living area features a lovely Victorian fireplace (not working), Smart TV, a two-seater leather sofa and a luxurious lacquered sideboard. The dining table seats three to four and is next to the double windows, which look down onto Southey Street and across to the slate-built Keswick Methodist Church. Beyond the skyline of the town you can see the North-Western fells.

The large kitchen area has an island sink and dishwasher. This leaves space along the back wall for plenty of worksurfaces for keen chefs, and there's a range of appliances including a fan oven/microwave, an induction hob, and a fridge with ice box. You will also find a shared washer-dryer on the mezzanine floor downstairs (used by three other apartments).

The bedroom looks out over the back of the house with a view of the fells, it has a kingsize bed, with ample storage in a double wardrobe, dressing table, and bedside drawers. The bathroom is ensuite and has a heated towel rail, WC, washbasin with cabinet, mirror with integral shaver point and a large corner shower cabinet with dual overhead and handset chrome shower heads, offering a generous rainfall drenching experience, a real luxury after an energetic day spent on the fells.

The apartment is one of seven in Easedale House and is accessed via a shared entrance. The other apartments are Kingfisher, Siskin, Curlew, Egret, Goldcrest and Osprey.
