Great location for a one week stay for 2 people but not longer. There is no outside space and an unsightly buildings view from front door. Location is great -easy walking distance to shops eateries etc. Parking was possible in nearby streets.
Shower not working at time of stay (due to a water pressure issue) but warned of this in advance and bath was fine with plenty of hot water.
There is good wifi .

Hello John, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay in the Lakes, it's a beautiful part of the world, isn't it? Here's to getting away from it all more often.

Knew to expect water pressure problems but the shower was very lame but hey-ho, only there for a few days and bath filled eventually for a late night soak after taking a wrong turn and accidentally walking 12 miles! Agree water pressure is the main problem but that the size of the combi boiler is the other issue and the shower head needs replacing as it is leaking and looks a bit aged and is probably glogged with a bit of limescale.
Bed comfortable, bathroom a good size, downstairs a reasonable size for short visits but wouldn't try to cook more than breakfast in the kitchen.
Delightfully clean on arrival and hopefully you felt you found it the same way upon my departure. Aghast to find a mop whilst looking for the hoover, so felt compelled to mop up the previous days wet foot prints around the door, which soon turned into a full mop of the ground floor.
Not being able to park outside was a bit difficult but was able to reverse back up to off load and reload at the end, without an issue. Spent £35 on parking over 4 days. It rackes up and you have to shuttle between the all day parking for £10 but no overnight parking, to the all night parking for £1 but max 3hours stay during the day. Just a bit of an unnecessary pain but hey ho.
Cost of accommodation worked out at c.£150/night, which in my opinion for SC accommodation is a bit steep but late booking and high season, I guess it is the going rate and I enjoyed my stay, so what the hell.
Thank you, will definately come to you again. Thank you owners for allowing dogs - he loved it and was a very good boy in your house.

The cottage was very outdated. It was cold and unwelcoming. The shower had barely any water pressure. It looked like a 20 year old appliance. The bed was terrible. Felt like it had a big hole in the middle of the mattress in which you fell through. The location was excellent though which helped our stay. Wouldn’t stop here again. Not good enough. There is no wi-fi either.
