Three Nooks is a homely cottage for four people in the village of Waberthwaite. It is only a few hundred yards from the centre of the village, which retains a tranquil air of a quieter pace of life.
The cottage living space is well equipped for holiday makers and the owners thoughtfully provide a welcome pack and ample information about the immediate area.
The local pub, the Brown Cow has featured in the Good Beer Guide for the past few years and their menu serves meat from local butcher, Woodalls.
Waberthwaite is famous as the home of Woodalls, a traditional Cumbria butchers with a Royal Warrant. You can purchase the top notch bacon and Cumberland Sausage from the Post Office in the village.
Straight from the cottage you can explore miles of bridleways, coastline and expansive fells. You are welcome to bring up to two horses to stay in the adjoining stables and explore the wide open fells on horseback.
There is a new garden room at the property, photos to follow.
