A first class cottage. The second bedroom is a bit small but all other rooms are larger than you might expect. Easy parking. Small enclosed garden. Very well equiped - including a computer! No shop in the village but a good pub (The Royal Yew). Lots of useful information sent to us before we arrived.

Had a lovely holiday at this home from home cottage over the New Year. The cottage itself is beautiful and accommodates everything you would need for your stay. Little personal touches by the owner added to this. The lounge has had an update since the photos were taken and makes it even more cosy looking with new furniture and curtains. The log fire was amazing. We didn’t need it on as the cottage is very warm but couldn’t resist having it lit. We were both poorly during our stay so didn’t wander too far but what we did see was some beautiful countryside. Will definitely return at some point.

Hello Fran, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I concur it's a lovely home from home cottage. You can't beat a cosy log burner to kick back and relax in front of - perfect! I'm sorry to hear you were both unwell during your stay, I hope you have both made a full recovery. I'm thrilled you had a lovely holiday and I very much look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Gorgeous house, comfy beds and comfy seats in living room, lovely wood burner, great central heating, great shower, lovely light in airy kitchen diner. Spotlessly clean. Dog towels, bowls ( even some treats and toys) and a wipe clean floor that you enter into. a hosepipe outside for de- mudding dogs boots etc. Clearly a house that has its own dogs, because it works well. Garden is enclosed but only secure if you have an elderly chihuahua, the wall is easily jumped - as the local beagle demonstrated several times a day by arriving to consort with our 2 dogs! No local shop but pub is great and even does take away fish and chips now ( dog friendly, but we can no longer take our Labrador to cafes pubs etc as she ‘ sings’ and wails very loudly as soon as she hears a hum of conversation!) it’s a lovely cottage- go stay, you’ll really like it!
