We had a great week at the Warren. The location was excellent with amazing gardens. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the property and would hope to return some day soon.

A beautifully cottage nestled in National Trust Manesty Woods and at the foot of Catbells. Internally the cottage is large, comfortable and well provided for with an ample supply of logs for the welcomed log burner. Equipment and bedding are of highest quality with a great supply of books and board games. The main garden is across the road from the property and leads onto Derwent Water. All rather idyllic, remote other than a steady stream of walkers on the public footpath in front of the cottage. Some lovely level walks direct from cottage, and access to Catbells a short stroll away. Highly recommended, a perfect Lake District retreat.

Hi Tracey, thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your break, it's the perfect place to relax and recharge the batteries isn't it? The location is stunning, the ideal choice if you enjoy getting out for some walks and up on the fells. I hope you can come back to explore more of the Lakes soon.

A perfect location with gorgeous walks right from the door. Really well equipped kitchen & lovely log burner for cosy evenings by the fire. Loads of great games to play. Would love to return.
