A gorgeous wee bolt whole for two with absolutely everything you could need for a cottage holiday. Close to Ullswater for days out and lovely walks. Lovely hosts who made us feel so welcome!

My wife and I were very pleased with our 7 night stay at Pelican Dairy (PD) and look forward to a return visit. PD is well situated for exploring Cumbria. The (charming) village of Greystoke is compact but has all the necessities: pub/ local shop/ nice walks and outdoor community (heated) swimming pool. Liz and Ian are friendly and helpful (but not intrusive). The (spacious) accommodation has everything needed for 2 adults (including Netflix, Amazon Prime + off street parking). We thought the property was, if anything, under-priced given the standard of decor and facilities provided.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, although the weather was very good which made it easier to get out and about. Not much to do in the immediate area but that was fine for us. It is a very comfortable cottage and Liz and Ian were very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from the "Madding Crowd"

I hope you can come back to explore more of the Lakes soon.
