General Description

Located in the centre of the pretty village of Greystoke, The Pelican Dairy is a charming retreat for 2 people.

The open plan living-dining room is bright and spacious. Relax on the 2-seater sofa or armchair, perfectly positioned around the wood burner - just perfect for cosy evenings in in front of the fire. For entertainment there's a smart TV with Netflix or take a seat by the French doors and watch the comings and goings of the many birds who also like to pay The Pelican Dairy a visit (or its garden at least!). The kitchen area is well equipped with an electric cooker and hob, handy microwave, fridge-freezer and a dishwasher. There is also access to a useful washing machine, tumble dryer and additional freeze space if requested - all of which are shared with the cottage owner - should you need to make use of these during your stay.

The modern shower room is also on the ground floor. With a WC, washbasin and shower cubicle it's great for reinvigorating tired muscles after a day out exploring.

On the galleried mezzanine floor is the lovely bedroom. Set into the eaves and with characterful beams, this is a spacious yet cosy bedroom with a king size bed and handy chest of drawers for storage.

Outside the cottage is parking for 1 car and a delightful garden area.

There is a small south facing patio outside the French windows with a table and chairs surrounded, in season, by beautiful roses and overlooking an ornamental pond with a fountain. Behind The Dairy, and accessed by a gravel path, is a delightful “secret” garden for your own private use. This garden has a south facing wooden bench and small folding table, just the right size for a tea tray.

Bikes may be stored in the owners’ garage, which has a keypad lock.
