surrounding countryside beautiful but tricky for walking without pavements. Rayburn oven on constantly making the property hot and uncomfortable. A patio wih an obscured view.A couple of fans would not have gone amiss. One advantage was it was close to Lake Windamere.

We really loved our stay at The Old Stables. The property was comfortable, cosy, and had some fabulous unique features and decor - we particularly enjoyed cooking on the Rayburn! For me the best past was the gorgeous, private outdoor patio - we were so lucky with the weather and this proved to be a perfect space for breakfast and dinners outside. The property would equally be perfect in wet weather with the lovely conservatory and cosy reading nook, and Netflix also available! Ayside itself seemed to be a relatively little village but everyone we met nearby was kind and helpful, and Ayside was a great base for trips to nearby Ulverston, Cartmel and the South Lakes in general. We had an excellent stay here and would definitely recommend.

Hi Chiara, thank you for taking the time to leave some feedback. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay, it's a lovely place for a relaxing break isn't it? It sounds like you enjoyed exploring some beautiful parts of the South Lakes, and the good weather was an added bonus! I hope you can come back to explore more of the Lakes soon.
