General Description

The interior layout comprises of an open-plan bedroom, kitchenette, entrance/hallway and luxury walk-in shower/bathroom, with storage for your belongings (rucksack style or holdalls are easiest to be stored under the wooden bench).  A long radiator is positioned next to the coat stand so your jackets are super warm and cosy for the next outing.

The Nook’s vaulted ceilings offer Velux sky lights to truly appreciate the starry skies, and a landscape window at the front of the property with views across the valley towards Catbells and Scafell.
Views of Catbells down to Bassenthwaite  from the shower (don't worry there's a blind!) and views at Lattrigg and Skiddaw as you clean your teeth!

The cupboards are full of cereal, porridge pots, bread, milk, tea, coffee, sugar, juice, butter and jams, to allow you to get breakfast, head back to bed and relax whilst taking in the views.  There is a microwave for those evenings when you just need to rewind early, but as Keswick is home to 20 plus pubs and the same of restaurants, you will definitely find yourself itching to get back into town to catch some tapas and live music!

The bed is a superking - or it can be unzipped to make two singles (please let Sarah, the owner, know if you'd like two singles).  The bed has drawers for additional storage.  The TV is angled for great viewing from the comfort of the bed, and you can log into your Amazon/Netflix account here too.  There is a range of DVDs for you to borrow and a PS4 is provided for those who like to game.

Enjoy well-earned lazy evenings and mountain views from your own privately enclosed outdoor area which comprises table & chairs, a chiminea and soft outdoor lighting. The owner, Sarah, will even light the chiminea if you're not quite confident about how to do it.

Leave your car in our ample car parking area for the duration of your stay and enjoy a leisurely walk into town. Wall Crag, Lattrigg, Castle Head, Friars Crag and Castlerigg Stone circles are all within a 30 minute walk away.  There is also a bike storage and wash down area, with hose pipe and paper to dry boots off.
