General Description

Why not treat yourselves to a stay at The Loft? A wonderful 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment a stone's throw from the centre of Keswick. Sitting pretty on the third floor of Chaucer House, The Loft enjoys enviable views from its elevated position over the surrounding rooftops to the fells beyond.

Head inside The Loft and you'll feel instantly at home in this refurbished apartment. All the rooms are located off a central hallway allowing for super easy and relaxed living. The modern kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, handy microwave and even a slimline dishwasher - if you did fancy doing the washing up yourself though, you can do so with a view! The sink is perfectly positioned in the window with a fantastic view towards Latrigg and Skiddaw. Next to the kitchen is a handy storage cupboard containing a useful washer-dryer, boot rack and hooks for coats. Across the landing from the kitchen is the quirky living-dining room. Set in the eaves, this is a wonderfully cosy room but thanks to its 2 dormer windows still manages to make the most of its elevated position. This time the view is to the front, over trees and pretty St Johns Church to Grisedale Pike and the Coledale Round in the distance. Gather round the dining table for a hearty home cooked meal before moving seamlessly to the sofa and armchairs for a cosy night in. For entertainment there's a TV with Apple TV and a speaker should you wish to play your own music.

Next along the landing is the modern family bathroom. With a bath and shower over (as well as the WC and washbasin), all tastes are catered for; indulge in a long soak or reinvigorate tired muscles under the shower. The master double bedroom is a lovely relaxing room. Why not enjoy your morning cuppa whilst admiring the view from the comfort of your bed? A storage cupboard with hanging space and a bench with storage baskets are useful additions that complete this lovely room. This bedroom's en suite shower room is a real treat and means the apartment works well for small families, friends, or two couples looking to holiday together.
