The Chesterfield-style leather sofa and armchair are positioned in front of the wood burning stove and there's a smart TV with Sky and Netflix access, perfect for relaxing evenings in.
Down 3 steps from the living room is the kitchen-diner. The kitchen is full of character, with beautiful slate flooring, wooden beams and the cottage's original bread oven is a fantastic feature. Well equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, fridge-freezer and handy microwave, there's also a useful washing machine should you need to make use of this during your stay and the round dining table is the perfect spot for sociable mealtimes.
The stairs lead up from the living room to the bedroom. A lovely, cosy room with plenty of original features and a delightful view over the garden and countryside beyond.
