We had an absolute ball cottage has everything you need for your stay and I think there’s a good chance we will be back next year my only tiny thing is that we would have liked to have known about the history of the house as it’s a very old building and by the looks of it , thanks sally ,s cottages for a great break

Hello Iain, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. It's a gem of a cottage, isn't it? Thank you also for your feedback - I will look into this further. I'm thrilled you had a great stay and I hope you will come back and visit us very soon!

Lovely accommodation in perfect central location. Some areas need updated such as bathrooms, they were a little dirty and shower cubicles too small. Toilet seats moved to the side.
No private outdoor area for dogs which makes it very difficult for letting the dog out for the toilet. The grass 100m across the road was covered in dog faeces which wasn’t pleasant.

Hi Jade, many thanks for taking the time to leave your comments. I would have been more than happy to address the bathroom cleanliness and loose toilet seats if you had let me know, I'm always happy to help. It really is a lovely location, isn't it? I hope to see you again in the future and I'll be more than happy to help you find somewhere just perfect for you and your 4 legged friend!

Lovely spacious apartment, almost in right in the centre of Windermere with a huge living room/dining area, that was well equipped for our use. Ideally situated literally a minutes walk down from the main shopping/restaurant area, with a couple of pubs almost opposite.

On the whole, a very nice place to stay. The only points that really took away from it were the doors within the property. Some were very stiff when shut, and would struggle to be opened again, whereas one would not close at all and 'popped' open when tried to be shut. The door into the property was also similarly difficult to open when unlocked.

Aside from this minor detail though, it really is a nice little place with plenty of room for 6 people to feel at home
