From the South

Leave the M6 at junction 36
Take the 1st left at the roundabout signed for Windermere/South Lakes
Follow signs towards Windermre and Ambleside
At the Waterhead traffic lights bear left
At the one way system bear left signed for Coniston
Continue into the village and The Beech Tree is situated just as you come into Coniston on the road from Ambleside. It is at the end of the main street opposite the bowling green, tennis courts and cricket ground. It is a large white house, with a huge beech tree in front (hence the name)
There is plenty of parking on the driveway in front of the house

From the North

Leave the M6 at junction 40
Take the A66 westwards towards Keswick
Continue along this road and take the slip road signposted Keswick
At the bottom of the slip road take the left turn onto the A591 toward Windermere
Travel along this road through Grasmere until reaching Ambleside
At Ambleside after passing through the town take the turn off for Coniston
