Tethera Hovera is a cosy and conveniently located house in Keswick. It was warm and comfortable and was well equipped. We all enjoyed staying there this autumn. Thank you very much.

We had a really nice relaxing stay. All equipment you need in the house, well equipped kitchen. Close to Keswick shops and great location for walking. Very comfy beds and all very clean. Great it has a parking space too. Would recommend.

When we arrived at the cottage it had not been cleaned. As we are in the Pandemic it meant we were unable to stay in cottage the first night. There is no number you can call to speak to someone at Sally Cottages in an emergency like this - only an answer phone. We were not able to get into the cottage until lunchtime the following day! The cottage has all the basic amenities and has a well equipped small kitchen. It's clean and simply furnished and looks freshly decorated. We found the beds a bit uncomfortable.

I'm really sorry to hear that you arrived at Tethera Hovera to find the cottage wasn't clean; I completely appreciate this would have been far from ideal. I can confirm that we have systems in place to ensure all cottages are clean prior to guests arriving so I was sorry to hear about this incident. We have discussed this with the cleaning team and will support them moving forward, to ensure they have everything they need. Our phone lines are extremely busy at the moment but we are taking calls from 8.30am until 5pm. Then, from 5pm until 9pm, we monitor the voicemails coming through - less of the team work of an evening, so we need to make sure they're available to deal with urgent issues. I can see that you arrived after 9pm, which is why you were unable to get hold of us, so I'm very sorry about that. I'm thrilled to hear that you were pleased with the accommodation as a whole but I really appreciate your feedback about the beds, so thank you for your honesty. I will be sure to discuss this with the owners. I do hope that despite these issues, you had a great time and that you'll be back in the Lake District soon for more adventures!
