We arrived late to a warm welcome and offered help and advice on our weeks stay. Chilled out the first evening with the complementary bottle of red sat in the flower garden. Everything was provided in the cottage ...log burner, cooker, oven, fridge freezer, washer drier and logs for the fire. Just bring your own food ? We walked round Buttermere, Lowes water and Ennerdale water. Visited St Bees, Keswick and Whitehaven. Had 2 barbeques in the fields at the cottage overlooking Ennerdale Bridge. Our 2 little dogs loved the break also with plenty of walking. We did get the weather which helps. All in all a great experience.

Hi Adrian, thank you for taking the time to write a review. It sounds like you had a wonderful relaxing break. It's a cosy little gem isn't it? And the location is stunning, I'm glad you enjoyed exploring. I bet your dogs were in their element with all those walks! I hope you can come back to explore more of the Lakes soon.
