The cottage is non-smoking
Woodburner in lounge (this needs to be kept well stocked in winter to fuel heating) Please note this is the only source of heating in the cottage.
The cottage is heated by radiators supplied by the wood stove. Electric heaters are also available to use when at the cottage.

The rear door leads into the well equipped kitchen, with tiled floor, electric hob and oven and fridge. There is also a washer dryer and a DAB radio. A small hallway leads off from the kitchen to the lounge and bathroom. The bathroom has washbasin, w.c. and shower cubicle.
The characterful cosy lounge has a wooden ceiling with beams and a large woodburner which also heats the hot water and provides the central heating. There is an immersion heater for boosting the supply of hot water. In the lounge there are comfortable armchairs and a sofa, and a dining table and chairs. There is a wall mounted LCD TV with built in DVD player.
Open tread stairs lead up to the double bedroom with a small window to the front and velux windows to the rear. The bedroom features original roof beams and a wooden floor. It is decorated with a wooden bed, wardrobe, full length mirror and chest of drawers. Ennerdale Water can occasionally be glimpsed from the bedroom window.
The cottage walls are decorated throughout with large framed photographs of the Lake District.
To the outside is the gravelled driveway with parking, small garden and use of sitting out area in owner's garden next door. A shed (used as a wood store) is also useful for storing bikes and outdoor gear. The owner has an enclosed front garden and two paddocks that you are welcome to make use of for exercising your dogs off leads. Please contact the owner for more information.
