Set in the heart of Keswick, Stone Cottage is a comfortable modern house sleeping up to five people in two bedrooms just a stone's throw from all the town's amenities.
On arrival at the cottage guests enter via the small patio area to the front of the entrance hallway with two steps down to the spacious bathroom. The room has a modern white suite with over-bath mixer shower and fresh bright decor. Also on this floor is the comfortable double bedroom. This has a wardrobe, chest of drawers and a substantial wooden bedstead.
Moving up the corner staircase you first reach the triple bedroom. Ideal for children, this room has wooden adult size bunk beds as well as a small single. Furnished with a wardrobe and chest of drawers it also has lovely exposed beams. Along the upstairs landing you'll also find a handy utility cupboard with a washer dryer.
Finally to the main living space, once again this is a delightful double height open plan space with exposed beams housing the living area, dining space and kitchen. The room has a gorgeous wood burner as its focal point making it a wonderful cosy space for snuggling up on chilly evenings. Guests can relax in one of the two deep comfy sofas while catching up on a good book or watching the wall mounted television with its built-in DVD player. The owners have thoughtfully left a selection of DVDs and books for guests to use during their stay. You might well spend your evenings around the dining table planning your Lake District days out. Through here is also the well equipped kitchen. This benefits from a raised double fan oven, a small dishwasher, microwave and compact under-counter fridge freezer.
Outside the house has its own designated parking space for a small-medium family car and a bench for enjoying an outdoor cuppa or two.
