The Stick House
A beautifully designed and stylishly decorated house in a beautiful, quiet rural location, The Stick House has been renovated by the current owners to provide a characterful, light yet cosy cottage for 4 people. With double and twin rooms it is ideal for families or for 2 couples holidaying together but would also provide a spacious retreat for a couple wanting to escape the rat-race for a romantic break. Cosy up around the wood-burner, chill out in the beautiful garden after a day out, or just stay in and soak up the atmosphere, you cannot fail to feel the stresses of everyday life are far away as soon as you turn through the gate. This former wood store and animal house has been rebuilt to modern standards yet maintains many character features giving lucky guests the best of both worlds, the whole cottage has underfloor heating beneath the stone floor provided by an environmentally friendly air source heat pump so no cold toes and no guilty conscience!
