Just back from a wonderful week here and we have to say it was one of the most relaxing places to stay at! Very clean and well equipped and the log burner was heavenly! Perfect local dog walking and would highly recommend Buttermere and Aira Force for days out!

I'm glad you got to do lots of exploring while you were here. I bet it was nice to come home to that lovely log burner. Here's to the next Lakes adventure!

stick house is the most gorgeous cottage. It has all the home comforts and no expense has been spared from underfloor heating to a stunning bathroom. We parked the car on arrival and the next time we got in it was leaving the following Friday. Stunning views all around and walks from the door. Highly recommended. Absolutely beautiful place in a stunning part of the Lake District.

Lovely cottage, underfloor heating was most welcome, the cottage was beautifully decorated with two bedrooms and bathrooms and a gorgeous oak beam framed lounge/ dining kitchen. A choice of a 1 or 2 mile walk to the village with VERY friendly pub and small shop with post office. It is off the beaten track but we managed to get to keswick and cockermouth, buttermere and the sea side within an acceptable drive of 30 mins or so. The surrounding hills are spectacular making the journeys an adventure of their own. The owners live next door and were helpful and charming. Would definately return here.

I'm glad you were able to get out and explore lots of different places. I bet it was lovely to come to home to the cosy wood burning stove.
I hope you can come back again soon, you can be sure of a warm welcome.
