General Description

St Herbert's Cottage is a recently renovated terraced house for six people nestled on a quiet street just a short walk from Keswick town centre. Designed with modern flair and bold colour accents throughout it boasts spacious and comfortable accommodation just a stone's throw from the beating heart of this much-loved Lakeland town. The owners have thoughtfully provided televisions in two of the bedrooms as well as a large smart tv and Bluetooth speaker in the living area and adorned the house with local photography reminding guests of the glorious scenery on the doorstep.

Guests access the house from the front door and are greeted by a light hallway from which they can access the lovely living and dining area. The living space has two deep grey sofas for lounging away evenings enjoying a good book or planning your holiday adventures. The room has a Smart TV with Freeview, a Bluetooth speaker and a gas effect fire for curling up around on chilly evenings. The room has been opened up to create an open plan dining space with a large table and comfy chairs. This end of the room also has a charming decorative fireplace and a large cupboard with coats hooks. The well-equipped modern kitchen is towards the rear of the house, it has a fan oven, ceramic hobs, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and washing machine. Not to mention all the crockery, cookware and utensils you are likely to need for your stay. The ground floor also has a toilet with washbasin.

Also accessed from the rear of the ground floor is the garage. Whether you choose to use it for parking (for a medium sized car), storing bikes or boats or to use the handy laundry line in here for dripping wet togs it's a very handy space indeed.

Moving up to the first floor, guests are greeted with a stunning ultra-modern shower room. With glistening onyx tiles, flashes of vibrant colour. a huge walk-in shower enclosure with mixer shower and luxurious drencher head it makes a fantastic space to soak away those aching muscles from long days out on the fells. The first of the king-size bedrooms has a very large fitted wardrobe with plenty of hanging and storage space and two large sash windows looking out to the front of the house and letting in bags of light it also has its own wall mounted television. The lovely twin room has a small window to the back of the house, a chest of drawers and a hanging rail. Moving up to the second floor to the second king-size room which is a peaceful attic haven with a wall mounted TV, under-eaves storage, hanging space, drawers and velux windows (one of which has a view over the rooftops to Catbells). There is also a handy single, pull-out futon in here if families would like to have their child sleeping in the same room as them.

Outside the house there is a handy back yard with a wooden table and benches for outdoor dining and to the front there is a bench on the small paved area to sit and watch the world go by.
