Skiddaw View is a two-bedroom bungalow sleeping up to four people in the heart of Keswick town centre. It is accessible for people with mobility issues; there is a small step to the front door, a walk-in shower and the parking space has been created in the front garden.
The front door opens out to the living room, which is flooded by light from the large window from where guests can watch the hustle-bustle of the town outside. A bird feeder has been thoughtfully set up outside the front window. The living room comprises of a matching leatherette three-piece-suite, including an electric reclining armchair. A TV and DVD player sit in the corner of the room, which is lit by an electric woodburner-effect stove. Board games are provided in the living room cabinet.
The kitchen has been fully refurbished and extended to encompass a conservatory dining area for four people. An electric split-oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine and freestanding fridge-freezer can all be found in the kitchen. The conservatory floods the room with natural light and looks onto the small enclosed rear garden.
The two bedrooms each feature a large wardrobe and plump mattresses. The double bedroom has views to the garden behind, while the twin room looks over the front garden to the town beyond. The twin beds have zip and link mattresses, so can be set as a super king bed upon request when booking. This room also has a chest-of-drawers and a small TV.
The bathroom contains a walk-in shower, bath, WC, basin and heated towel rail.
The back garden is accessed through the kitchen and features a picnic table on a gravelled area, which leads up to a small area of lawn. This garden is fully enclosed. The front garden consists of a lawned area and planted borders, including the most delightful lilac tree. Part of the lawn has been converted into two gravelled parking spaces, one of which is reserved for guests to Skiddaw View.
