A fabulous place to stay with views of the fells that must be some of the best in Keswick. The location was excellent as it was only a short walk to all the great facilities in Keswick. Very clean and homely with a super hot shower. Highly recommended.

Great little bungalow in a great location for making the most of the Lake District; I'd definitely consider staying here again. The views from the kitchen and bedroom were excellent! The property was in excellent condition and there was more cooking equipment in the kitchen than I was expecting, although the option of having a pint of milk in the fridge on arrival would have been appreciated. The bungalow was a little small for the two of us - the only space big enough for yoga was the lounge, which meant banishing my partner to the bedroom otherwise he'd risk a foot in his face from a wayward three legged dog! Also there wasn't enough room to pass each other around the bed - and we're slim people. Local amenities were good but you have to make dinner reservations in advance and there's almost nowhere to eat outside. The lack of recycling facilities was astonishing but I fear this is an issue with Cumbria council rather than the property. I was disappointed that there was no courtesy email from Sally's Cottages part way through our stay - there were some small faults (e.g. blown light bulbs) that I would have liked to have reported. Overall, the property was great, the rest of the issues I mention were niggles.

This is a beautiful cottage with stunning views from the gorgeous garden, bedroom and kitchen. We particularly liked that the cottage had a bath and washer/dryer. The double bed was comfortable in spite of the fact that we are used to a bigger one and we slept well every night. We feel that towels should have been provided and a bottle of milk and more than one toilet roll would have been nice. That said the bottle of wine and box of chocolates was a lovely welcome. A dishwasher would have made this cottage perfect. Not an issue but a locked bedroom and cupboard in the kitchen was a bit strange.

Hi Jim, thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay, it's a lovely place to relax and recharge the batteries isn't it? The views from the garden are breathtaking aren't they? And the fabulous weather was the icing on the cake. I have discussed your feedback with the owner of Seat How and there isn't quite enough room for a dishwasher but we have made it super clear in the accommodation summary that one won't be available, as well as highlighting the fact that towels aren't provided. It isn’t possible for the owners to provide fresh milk, however, I hope you enjoyed the yummy wine and chocolates they left for you! I hope you can come back to explore more of the Lakes soon.
