The apartment has shared access via an outside staircase. Once inside the building you descend internal stairs to find a charming apartment retaining many period features but furnished in a fresh, modern style.
The interior is offers fresh decor whilst making the most of the lovely period features of this Victorian house. The open plan setting benefits from lovely views towards Lake Windermere and the surrounding fells. In the living-dining area, you will find a feature fireplace, TV, two seater leather sofa, and dining table with two chairs. The kitchen has granite worktops and is fully equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment and storage space.
Head to the bedroom to find an impressive four poster double bed, wardrobe and an original feature fireplace offering a nod to the property's Victorian origins. This room also has delightful views of Windermere.
The bathroom is a calm haven with marble tiles, over-bath shower, towel rail, WC and sink. It is a perfect spot to sooth aching muscle after making the most of the wonderful walking on offer all around Windermere.
As the apartment is within the splendid Deloraine House, guests have shared access to two acres of beautiful leafy grounds as well as a conservatory. Within the grounds there is also shared access to the laundry with coin-operated washing machine and tumble dryer.
