General Comments: We could not have loved our stay at Rowan Tree Cottage more. It is a delightful cottage with absolutely beautiful and thoughtfully designed decor that strikes a balance between practicality, all the comforts of home and more than a few touches of luxury. The owners have clearly worked hard to create a very special place and we wouldn't hesitate to return. The location is spot on for access to the vibrant town of Keswick and all of its treasures. We thoroughly enjoyed dining out in the town in a fantastic array of restaurants, pubs, cafes as well as local shopping and then of course the wider Lake District was an absolute treat too - the sun even shone for us on several days of our New Year break which was an added bonus! General Comments: Absolutely perfect way to spend our first Christmas away. The cottage was a pure joy to stay in, so cosy and welcoming the owners have made a wonderful cottage feel like home.
