Had a lovely week in Rowan House. The cottage is in the lovely quiet village of Threlkeld which has two nice pubs, and is a perfect base for walking (Blencathra is right at the back of the village) only negative is the village lacks a shop. The views out of the cottage windows are stunning from all directions.

The cottage is roomy and comfortable and is fitted with high quality furnishings and fittings. There is a large electric range in the well appointed kitchen which has a good range of utensils, cutlery and pottery.

My Grandchildren particularly liked the garden and summerhouse to play in and the added touch of animal character door stops in the cottage.

Great cottage in the lovely village of Threlkeld. Nice size and 3 good bedrooms with a nice en-suite and lovely family bathroom. Little outside area to sit was a nice bonus given no garden area.
