loverly cottage with good garden for dogs.Amazing views of Skidaw and other hills.bit confusing that you went in by side door and would benifit from some pint glasses and a collinder. Friendly publocal with good selection of meals and allowed dogs to where you eat.Nice boat trips on Ullswater and Derwent Water.lots of nice fell walks nearby and Keswick good complete with market.

Hi Peter, thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your break at Roslin. It sounds like you did lots of exploring while you were here, fantastic! And wasn't the weather amazing?
I'll pass your suggestion for some pint glasses and a colander on to the owners, thank you.
I hope you can come back to explore more of the Lakes soon.

Roslin has a family home feeling to it. It is perfectly situated for the bustling Keswick but far enough away for a quiet relaxing holiday. The view of Skiddaw from the garden is a real bonus. The property could be a little cleaner as there were quite a few cobwebs around. That said, its not anything of real concern. Overall the property is a real gem and we will be looking to return to Roslin in the future.

A very comfortable cottage in a quiet location with stunning views.
Keswick is only 2 miles away with good shops and local amenities.

Thanks so much for your feedback, Pauline. Portinscale's a lovely village, isn't it, and so handy for lovely walks nearby. I'm glad you enjoyed the views of Skiddaw in this glorious weather! See you again soon, I hope!
